Who We Are

The Maumee Bay Club of NANBPWC, Inc. is a dynamic group of 24 educators, business owners, corporate executives, and other professionally licensed women committed to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Lucas County. The Maumee Bay Club has a proven record of developing quality programming. Since 1983, our efforts have focused on educational excellence, supporting entrepreneurial opportunities, issues affecting youth and young adults, and economic empowerment for all citizens. The Maumee Bay Club exists to promote the interests of business and professional women, to provide charitable activities to enrich our community, and to provide engaging programming to address the needs of youth and young adults in our community.

The Maumee Bay Club works toward a future where together with other interested stakeholders we create an environment where women thrive, youth excel and all citizens of Lucas County are empowered to reach their fullest potential.

The Maumee Bay Club’s signature program is the HBCU College Tour. For more than 20 years we have taken a select group of Toledo Area High School students to visit Historically Black Colleges and Universities all over the country.

About Us

Moving Forward With a Purpose

The Maumee Bay Club is a subsidiary of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. Link to their website. nanbpwc.org Their mission is to promote and protect the interests of African American business and professional women; to serve as a bridge for young people seeking to enter business and the professions; to improve the quality of life in the local and global communities; and to foster good fellowship.

 

The Maumee Bay Club is an Ohio-registered 501c3 charitable organization, supported in part by the NANBPWC, Inc. to help us serve our local community.
